Solange Nude
I'm testing a new character for one of my favorite vendors, DarwinsMishap.  He does amazing work with characters and this one is no exception.  She's beautiful.  Her name is Solange and she should be available soon.  I had to force her to render longer twice and I still couldn't get rid of all of the grain.  I might have to try it again with different lighting.  Rendered in Iray.  Post in Gimp 2.9 Beta.
The figure is a mix of Damen by DarwinsMishap and Elijah.  Marquee Letters are by Marshian.  Main light is from iRadiance - Light Probe HDR Lighting for Iray, not sure which one but I think Expansion 2.  Since I had the lighting coming from the behind him, the figure was kind of dark in the front.  Iray Ghost Light Kit to the rescue.  Thank you, KindredArts!!! Saved me a ton of time and headaches.  One Ghost Light in front and above fixed that very nicely and didn't mess up any of my long shadows.  Rendered in Iray, obviously.  Small amount of post in Gimp 2.9 Beta.
Highland Cabin
Landscape using FirstBastion's newest outdoor scene in the store.  Awesome set.
Fantasy Cupid
Just an idea that popped into my head so I had to let it out.  Rendered in Iray.  Post in Gimp 2.9 Beta.
Kadis Armor Promo - Last one!
This one was rendered in Iray with a 3Delight set, Flipmode's On Top of the World.  I had to do a little creative thinking to do this one with no postwork.  Everything was done inside DAZ Studio.  I think the Kadis - Ancient Legendary Armor looks great.
This is my first journal entry here so I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'll wing it.

Last month was my anniversary with DAZ Studio and I decided to update my old avatar pic.  Jaguar Sadie got a new LAMH hairdo.  It was my first time doing a LAMH preset from scratch.  It isn't bad, but it still needs a little bit of work.  Okay, maybe a lot of work.  :)  I think the new avatar pic turned out pretty well, though, even if her fur is a little on the thin side.  I'll work on that in the weeks to come.

Jaguar Sadie: September 2016

If any DAZ forumites want to see how I did it, I posted the entire process on my Laboratory thread in the forums.

There were several people in the Daz Forums who enjoyed seeing my original full image from which my avatar came so I thought I'd share it here before she is gone.  When I got into this 3D thing, I figured I needed an avatar and I had been playing around with the Cat World ReGenesis line by RawArt3d and I wondered how Sadie for Genesis would look as a cat.  It turned out she looked pretty darned good and this Cat thought she was the perfect avatar.  I rendered her in 3Delight and considering how little I knew back then, I'm surprised she turned out as well as she did.  I don't even know where on my hard drive I put the original picture and I had to actually download it from my DAZ Gallery so that I could upload it here.  So, before she leaves completely, here is her full sized image made two years ago.

:)  Thanks.  Love knitting.  Although, lately I've done more spinning than knitting.  Still, it is a great hobby to have.

What got you into Knitting?
Knittingmommy Featured By Owner Dec 29, 2016  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Ah, I learned to crochet first because that was what my mom knew how to do.  She is the crafty type so I grew up with all sorts of craft projects of one type or another back in the 70s when doing all of that was really popular.  Then, I got it into my head that I should learn how to knit, but I didn't know anyone who did that.  So, I taught myself with books from the library when I was around 14.  My first project was awful!  But, I loved the process.  I've been knitting ever since so about 40 years, give or take.  Now, I spin my own yarn, too.  I've just recently gotten into dyeing my own yarn, too.  I still crochet occasionally and I quilt, too, but I love knitting the best.  :)
